Name: Linda Smith	On July 17, 2008 I needed a plumber, having recently heard some nice things about Nelson Bros. I decided to make the call. I'm 71 years old and have had alot of health problems lately so when Jesse showed up I had to apologize for the mess he had to go thru just to get to the bigger on in the basement. Name: William Gray From: 1412 Glenside Green Court	I would like to thank you again for the excellent work your company completed on our sewer line in July. As the previous owner of 201 N. Minerva, you assisted us during a difficult sale of our house. During the buyer's inspection, subsequent to the sale, the house inspector identified a slight (less than 1" step along the sewer line. We quickly arranged for a third party opinion and that contractor confirmed our suspicion that the sewer line was in perfectly good working order and the slight step was no cause for concern. Regardless, the buyer insisted we address the problem before continuing with the sale. Even though the previous owner had contracted your company to replace the sewer line more than three years earlier, you stood by the work and replaced the section of the sewer line under warranty. I was totally blown away by this commmitment, as you expended significant resources (a backhoe and two days of labor) on this warranty repair when there wasn't anything functionally wrong with the sewer line. I hope to return the favor someday and it would always be my pleasure to serve as a reference. Added: November 4, 2008

Name: Mike & Jen From: Royal Oak, MI	I just wanted to say that we had such a great experience with Nelson Brothers. We've had two instances of backup with the drainage below the basement and out to the sewer for a month or so now. At first we had another company come out twice to snake the piping and send a camera down each time to see what the problem was and to get a quote on any major repair. I didn't think to ask to see the camera first hand or know exactly where and how they snake the piping, so I just went by their word and they told me I had to have the concrete dug up and have new piping installed as well as the piping leaving the house replaced. They also said that the piping under the basement was pitched the wrong way so nothing could drain and that the piping was collapsing and breaking in areas as well as having areas where waste was collecting. My wife then said she wanted to get someone else to look at it and contacted Nelson Brothers. Right when she told the situation to Nelson Brothers, they were outraged at how we were not being shown the camera results. They immediately came out(Harry is a great, honest and courteous person!), and showed us first hand that NOTHING was true from what the first company was telling us. I'm really disappointed that someone would say we'd need to dig up our whole basement and lie about camera results. Here's the kicker, the first company didn't even run a camera in the piping under the basement because the only access hole available was corroded shut and untouched for years! Harry worked really hard to get this loose and was just in shock that someone would just make something up about having all of these bad pipes. I want to thank Nelson Brothers for being empathetic to our prior experience and basically saving us thousands of dollars and so much time that would have been an inconvenience! You're the best!
